Fiordland Personality Nomination!

We have been announced as finalists for the 2015 Destination Fiordland Regional Tourism Personality of the Year Awards! Yes both of us - Steve and Kate Norris. A great honor of course, but up against a fine line up of recipients. Of particular mention is Ann and Wayne Carran who have been given the title of the 'guardian angels of Milford road users'. Basically they keep us at Trips & Tramps safe and our operations going, by ensuring the safety along the Milford Road. This includes active management of the avalanche zones which under which we must travel. They have announced their retirement this year and are my pick to take the title.  Their commitment to our region is a real credit to these great Fiordland Locals!  For more information on their story and deeds see this recent article in the Otago Daily Time here ....
