Located in Fiordland National Park, in the South Island of New Zealand it is one of the most iconic destinations in the world. It truly is an impressive place, with magnificent scenery carved by the retreating glaciers many years ago. The steep mountains rise from the sea, and the high rainfall creates a unique environment on both land and sea. Our favourite is the New Zealand Fur Seal, which is commonly sighted basking on the rocks at the narrowest point of the fiord.  The high wind at this point acts as a natural insect repellent to keep the pesky sandflies away!
