Since 2003, Trips & Tramps, led by Kate and Steve, has been dedicated to enhancing Fiordland's community through sustainable practices, focusing on biodiversity conservation and reducing carbon emissions. Our efforts include supporting local schools and community initiatives, efficient business operations, and publishing an annual emissions report to monitor our environmental impact. Our “Make a Difference” fund, supported by contributions from direct bookings, helps drive meaningful, community-led sustainability projects — from supporting the Fiordland Trails Trust to providing bikes for Te Anau School. It’s all part of our commitment to protecting what makes Fiordland special and giving back more than we take.
